Synthesis and Characterization of Bifunctional α‐Fe2O3‐Ag Nanoparticles
Advances in Condensed Matter Physics, Volume 2015, Issue 1, 2015., 2015 The synthesis of α‐Fe2O3‐Ag bimetallic nanoparticles using a novel and simplified route is presented in this work. These hybrid nanoparticles were produced using a modification of the chemical reduction method by sodium borohydride (NaBH4). Fe(III) chloride hexahydrate (FeCl3·6H2O) and silver nitrate (AgNO3) as precursors were employed.

A Novel Route for the Preparation of Gold Nanoparticles in Polycaprolactone Nanofibers
Journal of Nanomaterials, Volume 2015, Issue 1, 2015., 2015 A facile strategy for the fabrication of polycaprolactone (PCL) nanofibers containing gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) is proposed. The method is based on electrospinning nanosuspensions loaded with passivated Au nanoparticles. The optical property of gold nanoparticles synthesized was observed by UV‐visible absorption spectra.
