A case of eosinophilic gastroenteritis with eosinophilic ascites.
48才の女性が,水様性下痢便に続く著明な腹水で,近医より紹介された.末梢血白血球分画で好酸球が42%と著増を示し,また,腹水中の好酸球が84%を占めていた.開腹による小腸楔状切除生検にて,粘膜下層から漿膜下層にわたるほぼ全層に,好酸球の浸潤を認めた.これらから,本例はいわゆるMcNabbらの言うtransmural eosinophilic gastroenteritis with ascitesに相当すると思われる.
