ABSTRACT Psidium guineense (Myrtaceae) is traditionally used for various medicinal purposes, although its stem remains underexplored. This study provides the first integrated phytochemical, pharmacological and computational evaluation of the stem extracts to elucidate their antioxidant, antidiabetic and antibacterial potential.

EPG patterns in a patient with phonemic paraphasic errors
Auditorily-detected phonemic paraphasias such as substitutions are said to characterize aphasias such as Wernicke’s and conduction aphasia. However previous research has shown that the articulatory details underlying such substitutions recorded by ...

For the Few, Not the Many: Tracing the Residualist and Compensatory Nature of British Energy Support
ABSTRACT Drawing on extensive documentary analysis, this article traces the evolution of British energy policy support since World War II. It analyses shifts in policy design through two interpretive lenses: eligibility (residualist vs. universalist) and function (compensatory vs. preventive).

Biomaterial Physical Cues as Gene Regulators for Cellular Agriculture
This review elucidates how biomaterial physical cues—ranging from matrix stiffness to remote electromagnetic fields—serve as extrinsic regulators of gene expression in cellular agriculture. By identifying central mechanotransduction pathways that bridge physical inputs to genetic remodeling, the authors propose the “Material Genome” concept: a ...

Calibration‐Free GRAPE pTx Pulses for Homogeneous Spatial‐Selective Excitation at 7T
ABSTRACT Purpose Extend the universal pulse GRAPE formalism to pulses with a defined spectral response, and apply the concept to spatial selection. Methods We added Bloch simulations at several frequencies for each voxel to the pulse calculation to create universal spectrally‐selective GRAPE pulses.

Using EPG data to display articulatory separation for phoneme contrasts
A recurring difficulty for researchers using electropalatography (EPG) is the wide variation in spatial patterns that occurs between speakers. High inter speaker variability, combined with small numbers of participants, makes it problematic (i) to ...
