[The manifestations of an epidemic process of typhoid infection in Moscow].

The work deals with the results of typhoid morbidity in Moscow for the period of 1980-1988. The morbidity rate varied from 0.98 to 0.17 cases per 100,000 of population with a tendency towards decrease. In the structure of morbidity local cases accounted for 46.8% and cases of infection contacted outside Moscow accounted for 53.2%.

Abstract Dengue is the most rapidly expanding mosquito‐borne viral disease worldwide. The worst year on record was 2024, with over 100 countries reporting 14.4 million cases and over 11,000 deaths. Since then, and up to August 2026, another 7.4 million cases and over 5000 deaths have been reported.

On the basis of the analysis of cholera cases for the period of 1965-1989 three main main types of epidemic manifestations of this infection on the territory of the USSR were determined with due attention to the complex of data, characterizing the intensity and types of the epidemic process, the danger of the outbreak and spread of cholera.
