Traveling wave solutions for a discrete diffusive epidemic model [PDF]
We study the traveling wave solutions for a discrete diffusive epidemic model. The traveling wave is a mixed of front and pulse types. We derive the existence and non-existence of traveling wave solutions of this model. The proof of existence is based on

A New Decision Support Framework for Managing Foot-and-mouth Disease Epidemics
Animal disease epidemics such as the foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) pose recurrent threat to countries with intensive livestock production. Efficient FMD control is crucial in limiting the damage of FMD epidemics and securing food production.

Cilostazol in patients with heart failure and preserved ejection fraction—The CLIP‐HFpEF trial
• Cilostazol is an oral PDE‐3 inhibitor that may have advantageous effects in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). • Cilostazol significantly improved short‐term heart failure‐related health status scores (KCCQ‐12) and NT‐proBNP levels when compared to placebo.

Household epidemic models with varying infection response
This paper is concerned with SIR (susceptible--infected--removed) household epidemic models in which the infection response may be either mild or severe, with the type of response also affecting the infectiousness of an individual.

There is no effective method to treat this virus and prevent its transmission. To address this, we have developed a nano‐silver‐selenium liquid dressing (AgSe@LD) by combining silver and selenium nanoparticles with commercial liquid dressings. This unique AgSe@LD formulation exhibits good adhesion, stability and toughness and demonstrates efficient ...
