Epidemiological characteristics of acrochordons.
Introduction: Skin tag ST, acrohordon, fibroepithelial polyp is the most common fibrous lesion of the skin and presents as a soft, pedunculated, skin-colored papule 1-2mm. Multiple acrohordons may reflect obesity and endocrine disease, whereas solitary and larger lesions may occasionally represent dermal melanocytic nevi in regression.

Epidemiologic characteristics of cancer of the breast in Taiwan [PDF]
An attempt was made to identify and interview all cases of breast cancer diagnosed during a 3-year period in the population of a defined area of Northern Taiwan; 232 cases were identified, and 213 were interviewed. For comparison, similar interviews were conducted with 648 patients with diseases other than breast cancer.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
