Ageing acts as a double‐edged sword in cancer. In the elderly, open chromatin, immunosenescence, and chronic inflammation drive SASP (IL‐6, MMPs), MDSC accumulation and T‐cell suppression, fostering tumor‐promoting microenvironments and limited therapeutic benefit.

The biker-glove pattern of congenital melanocytic nevi. [PDF]
Congenital melanocytic nevi (CMN) are common birthmarks with 20% occurring on the limbs. We describe 4 patients with acral CMN with a "biker-glove" distribution with sparing of the distal digits, as has previously been described in acral infantile ...

ABSTRACT Background Next‐generation sequencing (NGS) is becoming more commonly used for diagnosis in dermatopathology. It's critical to appraise its efficacy and limitations. Distinguishing benign deep penetrating nevi (DPN) from deep penetrating like‐melanoma (DPN‐M) is a challenging diagnostic scenario even for experienced dermatopathologists ...

This study elucidates the mechanism by which heat stress regulates skin pigmentation: heat stress upregulates CX3CL1 through the MYC‐WDR5‐H3K4me3 axis, thereby activating the CX3CL1/CX3CR1‐JNK signaling pathway and ultimately promoting melanogenesis. These findings provide novel potential therapeutic targets for pigmentary skin disorders.
