Plant‐Produced Viral Nanoparticles Decorated with Nanobodies Against HER2 Improve Retention and Recruitment of Immune Cells in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Potato virus X is a filamentous RNA plant virus that can be engineered into a molecular tool for cancer therapy. We produced genetically‐encoded virus‐derived nanoparticles decorated with nanobodies targeting cancer cell receptors, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2).

Cerebellar Squamous Cell Carcinoma Due to Malignant Transformation of Cerebellopontine Angle Epidermoid Cyst, Report an Interesting Case and Review the Literature

open access: yesPrague Medical Report, 2019
Malignant transformation of an epidermoid tumour is a rare entity that in almost all patients occurs at the same site of the primary lesion. We report a case of an epidermoid tumour with malignant transformation to squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) at the ...

Cytomorphology and Molecular Profile of Hyalinizing Clear Cell Carcinoma of the Lung: A Case With Mucinous Differentiation

open access: yesDiagnostic Cytopathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma (HCCC) of the lung is an exceedingly rare salivary gland‐type neoplasm with limited cytomorphologic description. We report a case highlighting these features. A 3 mm incidental left‐airway lesion enlarged to 7 mm over 5 months, prompting radial endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)‐guided transbronchial biopsy. Touch

Quantitative Analysis of Cytologic Features: Application to Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma

open access: yesDiagnostic Cytopathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Cytologic diagnosis relies on recognition of morphologic features, yet the diagnostic value of individual cytologic features or their combinations is rarely quantified. In this study, we apply a quantitative cytologic feature analysis (QCFA) approach that treats each cytologic feature as a diagnostic test with measurable ...

Carcinoma epidermoide pseudovascular

open access: yesActas Dermo-Sifiliográficas, 2006
The adenoid form of squamous cell carcinoma is a neoplasm that is characterized by the fact that it presents a pseudoglandular pattern in the histological study. The biological phenomenon that explains this histological pattern is acantholysis; when the latter is massive, the tumor may even mimic a vascular proliferation, and is known as pseudovascular

Deceptive Thyroid Pathologies: Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma Mimics and Clinical Implications

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Beyond follicular‐derived thyroid carcinomas, lymphomas, and metastatic disease, there are rare pathologies of the thyroid gland that represent a challenge. We report patients with unusual malignancies that mimic similar aggressive cancers. Methods Retrospective case series.
