γ‐Amino acid derivatives with an α‐quaternary center are prevalent in medicinally important compounds. A dual N‐heterocyclic carbene/photocatalytic pathway is developed for the three‐component synthesis of α, α ‐disubstituted γ‐amino esters. This methodology allows for the rapid synthesis of diverse libraries of γ‐amino esters in good yields.
