ABSTRACT Complete trisomy 5p is a rare chromosomal disorder caused by a duplication of the short arm of chromosome 5. Current data suggest that complete trisomy 5p presents as a distinct clinical syndrome including but not limited to seizures, developmental delays, facial dysmorphisms, failure to thrive, and recurrent respiratory infections.

Real‐World Effects of Home‐Based Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation in Depression: A Randomized Controlled Trial of 3‐Week Versus 6‐Week Protocols

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 15, Issue 12, December 2025.
In this randomized controlled trial, both 3‐week and 6‐week home‐based tDCS protocols effectively reduced depressive symptoms, with no significant difference between the two. Cognitive performance, as measured by the DSST, improved over time in both groups. Adverse events were mild and varied by the type of concurrent psychotropic medication.
