The determination of what is said and what is implied
Mind &Language, EarlyView.Is what is said determined by syntax, conventional meaning, and select aspects of context? This thesis—semanticity—seems plausible because what is said can diverge from both what the speaker means and what the addressee understands, and because ordinary speakers know what is said when presented with a novel sentence‐context pair.

Modern Theology, EarlyView.Abstract This article reconsiders Jacques Maritain's philosophical poetics by situating it within his longstanding debate with Maurice Blondel over the nature and unity of intellect. Why Are All the Sets All the Sets?
Noûs, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Necessitists about set theory think that the pure sets exists, and are the way they are, as a matter of necessity. They cannot explain why the sets (de rebus) are all the sets. This constitutes the Ur‐Objection against necessitism; it is the primary motivation cited by potentialists about set theory.
