Year‐round pollinator visitation of ornamental plants in Mediterranean urban parks
Pollinators visiting ornamental plants in urban parks remained diverse throughout the year. They were represented by wild bees (42%), honeybees (37%), flies (18%), butterflies (2%) and beetles (1%). Both native and non‐native plants attracted pollinators.

Contactless Acoustic Trapping of Hoverflies for Behavioral Studies
We present a contactless tethering device based on acoustic levitation. Opposing ultrasonic transducers generate standing waves, creating stable pressure nodes that enable the sustained levitation of hoverflies (Episyrphus balteatus). We show that acoustic levitation does not appear to affect hoverfly behavior.

The hoverflies Episyrphus balteatus and Eupeodes corollae (Diptera: Muscomorpha: Syrphidae) are important natural aphid predators. We obtained mitochondrial genome sequences from these two species using methods of PCR amplification and sequencing.

Plant‐Pollinator Interactions in Grasslands Established on Arable Land
We compared plant‐pollinator networks in newly established and old, permanent grasslands in a Central European agricultural landscape. Newly established grasslands showed higher pollinator visitation frequency and diversity per plant species, especially for solitary bees and syrphids, with a comparable network structure to old grasslands.

The mirid bug Apolygus lucorum (Meyer‐Dür) is a major pest affecting tea. Identifying the dominant predatory spiders of the mirid bug can provide a scientific basis for developing biological control technologies. Xysticus ephippiatus demonstrates the greatest potential as a biological control agent against A. lucorum.
