This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Gellan gum fluid gel (FG) enables controlled ocular delivery of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC)‐derived extracellular vesicles (EV). Its shear‐thinning, solid‐liquid‐solid rheology ensures prolonged ocular retention. Sustained MSC‐EV release (∼18% in 6 hrs) supports effective EV ocular delivery.

Corneal and epithelial thickness mapping in diabetic patients using optical coherence tomography
Purpose To evaluate corneal and epithelial thickness using the anterior segment optical coherence tomography and to correlate these changes with major disease parameters, that is duration of the disease, status of control (glycated hemoglobin level), and

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Comparison of Corneal Epithelial Thickness Map Measured by Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography in Healthy, Subclinical and Early Keratoconus Subjects [PDF]
The aim of this study was to compare epithelial thickness map obtained by Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography (SD-OCT) of eyes with myopic astigmatism but without keratoconus, subclinical and early keratoconus.

Effect of post-operative treatments on stromal and epithelial thickness. [PDF]
A. Plot of change in central epithelial thickness in the 4 experimental groups showing the average amount of epithelial thickness scraped off prior to laser ablation (time-point 0) and the hyperplasia in this layer that was already evident 2 weeks later ...
