Angiosarcoma Arising in a Patient with a 10-Year-Old Hemangioma

open access: yesCase Reports in Oncological Medicine, 2014
The transformation of a benign hemangioma into a malignant angiosarcoma has been rarely reported, with only 11 cases reported in the literature. There have been no reports of malignant transformation of hemangioma into angiosarcoma in association with ...

Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Findings of a Malignant Hepatic Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesJournal of Investigative Medicine High Impact Case Reports, 2013
We report the case of a rare solitary small nodular form of malignant hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma in a patient followed by computed tomography and gadoxetic acid (Gd-EOB-DTPA)–enhanced magnetic resonance imaging with histological analysis ...

Real‐World Experience of Efficacy and Tolerability of Continuous Infusion Ifosfamide for Advanced Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma Patients: A Single Centre Retrospective Cohort

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background In the absence of randomized trials, selecting second or later‐line therapies in advanced sarcoma generally hinges on histology, patient performance status, and toxicity profile. We herein report a real‐world sarcoma referral center experience on continuous infusion Ifosfamide (ciIFO), in advanced Soft tissue sarcomas (STS) and bone

TFE3 rearranged epithelioid hemangioendothelioma of the lymph node: A rare primary presentation of vascular tumor

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pathology and Microbiology
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a rare malignant vascular tumor that has been described in numerous sites such as soft tissue, liver, and lungs. However, primary lymph nodal presentation of hemangioendothelioma is extremely rare.

ATF5‐Dependent GDF15 Expression Mediates Anesthesia‐Induced Neuroprotection Against Stroke

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 3, 14 January 2026.
Anesthesia‐induced preconditioning protects against perioperative stroke. By manipulating ATF5 in excitatory neurons, it is shown that anesthesia‐driven ATF5 upregulation activates the mitochondrial unfolded protein response (UPRmt) and elevates GDF15 expression.

Tibial epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesHuman Pathology: Case Reports, 2020
Epithelioid hemangioendotheliomas (EHE) represent less than 1% of all bone tumors. They often present in the long tubular bones or in the axial skeleton, but are often multifocal in nature and can present in the liver and lung. This paper presents a case

NR1D1::MAML1 epithelioid and spindle cell sarcoma mimicking pseudomyogenic hemangioendothelioma in core biopsy: A case report and review of the literature

open access: yesGenes, Chromosomes and Cancer, 2023
Epithelioid and spindle cell sarcomas with NR1D1::MAML1/2 gene fusions are rare and emerging entities. Only six cases of NR1D1‐rearranged mesenchymal tumors have previously been reported in the literature; they are often characterized by an epithelioid ...
