This study reveals the long‐elusive intracellular dissolution mechanism of carrier‐free nanomedicines. By utilizing peak‐shifted dual‐state emissive FRET nanoprobes (PDFNPs) that undergo a distinct ratiometric fluorescence peak shift upon disassembly, we achieve real‐time, quantitative tracking of dissolution kinetics in live cells.

In vivo observation of the corneal epithelium
AbstractSpecular microscopy is an important addition to the ophthalmologist's diagnostic armamentarium. Using this technique, it has been found that normal corneal epithelial cells are polygonal, with no abnormal specular reflex. There are no spindle‐shaped, large or small cells, as may be observed in a variety of pathologic conditions.

Understanding the spacing of placodes in the eye: A comparative study across age and species
Abstract The conjunctival placodes of the avian eye form in an intriguing and conserved sequence in a circular annulus around the cornea. These 13–16 placodes develop into papillae that are essential for inducing underlying intramembranous flat bones, known as scleral ossicles, which form an important part of the ocular skeleton.

The effects of NETs on regeneration of various diabetic tissues, and strategies targeting NETs for diabetes tissue regeneration. In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.

A Case of Solitary Nonvascularized Corneal Epithelial Dysplasia
Background. Epithelial dysplasia is categorized as conjunctival/corneal intraepithelial neoplasia which is a precancerous lesion. The lesion is usually developed at the limbal region and grows towards central cornea in association with neovascularization
