Re-designation of Epitype Specimens and Renumbering of Nomenclatural Identifier for Elsinoë Species Reported from Japan [PDF]

open access: greenRe-designation of Epitype Specimens and Renumbering of Nomenclatural Identifier for Elsinoë Species Reported from Japan
In the course of taxonomical re-examination of Japanese Elsinoë species, the proposed taxonomical treatments were revised. An epitype was redesignated and the identifiers for names were renumbered according to the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants. 日本産Elsinoë 属菌の分類学再検討の過程において命名法上の処理が行われた数種についてエピタイプの再指定及び識別子の再付与を行った。

DNA methylation epitypes highlight underlying developmental and disease pathways in acute myeloid leukemia [PDF]

open access: bronzeGenome Research, 2021
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a molecularly complex disease characterized by heterogeneous tumor genetic profiles and involving numerous pathogenic mechanisms and pathways. Integration of molecular data types across multiple patient cohorts may advance current genetic approaches for improved subclassification and understanding of the biology of the ...

The ghosts of collections past: characterisation of Neohouzeaua mekongensis (Poaceae: Bambusoideae: Bambuseae: Melocanninae) with an epitype

open access: diamondThai Forest Bulletin (Botany), 2021
Identifying a bamboo taxon from the Asian seasonal tropics is notoriously difficult, if not impossible, especially when the type material is lacking vegetative parts. This is due to the fact that old type material associated with the naming of bamboos often consists of only flowering branches and perhaps just a few leaves, and, as bamboos in the field ...
