EPIGENETIC REGULATION OF CLIMATIC ADAPTATION IN NORWAY SPRUCE EPITYPES

open access: green
Epigenetic mechanisms regulate climatic adaptation in Norway spruce (Picea abies) epitypes, affecting bud phenology and seasonal growth. Differences in gene expression, small RNAs, and DNA methylation patterns were observed between cool and warm epitypes throughout the annual cycle.
