Modeling of Epizootic Process in Obligate Vector-Borne Infections Transmitted by Ticks
Biology Bulletin Reviews, 2019Abstract—An analytical review of mathematical models of the epizootic process in natural foci of obligate vector-borne infections, the causative agents of which are ecologically related to ixodic ticks and are transmitted by them, is presented. A diverse range of models has been reduced to the basic forms used to model the dynamics of the vector ...

[Epizootic process caused by Salmonella species in broiler flocks].
Veterinarno-meditsinski nauki, 1986As the result of vast epizootiologic studies for Salmonella infections in two broiler flocks the intensity of the apparent and the inapparent epizootic process was shown to grow over the period of fattening. Statistical methods, such as Shovene's criterion and the correlation analysis were made use of in the interpretation of the results.

[Epizootic process on a farm chronically infected with Aujeszky's disease].
Veterinarno-meditsinski nauki, 1977Clinical and epizootiologic studies have been carried out in the course of one year on a farm with a permanent Aujeszkys disease infection as well as virologic and serologic investigations, performed seven times, with a total of 70 fattened pigs. No clinical symptoms of Aujeszky's disease have been established during the period of investigation, while ...

Simulation of Rabies Epizootic Process in Fox Populations at a Limited Carrying Capacity of Biotopes
Russian Journal of Ecology, 2002To describe the epizootic process of rabies in fox populations, a model based on a cellular automata network (Toffoli and Margolus, 1991) was constructed. The cell state and the rules of transition from one state to another were determined in accordance with a modification of the previous model based on a differential equation system, which was ...

ANALYSIS OF THE EPIZOOTIC PROCESS OF RABIES IN A PARTICULAR REGION USING GIS TECHNOLOGIES
SCIENTIFIC LIFERabies is a disease of viral etiology that is fatal to mammals, including humans. With a mortality rate of almost 100% in humans and animals, rabies remains a global threat, killing approximately 59,000 people each year. In this regard, the goal of our study is to analyze the epizootic situation of animal rabies in the Saratov region for the period ...

[Dynamics of a latent epizootic process as evaluated by an incidence-of-infection index].
Veterinarno-meditsinski nauki, 1984The index of infection (the number of positive samples to the total number of investigated samples ratio) was used to study the intensity of the inapparent epizootic process in avian salmonellosis. Two flocks of broiler birds were followed up for the presence of Salmonella organisms over the period of hatching up to the end of fattening.
