Modification of epoxy resins with thermoplastic segmented polycarbonate-based polyurethanes [PDF]

open access: yesHemijska Industrija, 2014
In this work, epoxy hybrid materials were synthesized by addition of thermoplastic segmented aliphatic polyurethanes with good elastic properties. The modified epoxy samples were obtained by curing of previously homogenized mixture of prepared ...

Electromagnetic Properties of Carbon Nanotube/BaFe12−xGaxO19/Epoxy Composites with Random and Oriented Filler Distributions

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
The microwave properties of epoxy composites filled with 30 wt.% of BaFe12–xGaxO19 (0.1 ≤ x ≤ 1.2) and with 1 wt.% of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were investigated in the frequency range 36–55 GHz.

Electrical properties of covalently functionalized graphene

open access: yesAIMS Materials Science, 2017
We have employed first-principle calculations to study transformation of graphene’s electronic structure under functionalization by covalent bonds with di erent atomic and molecular groups - epoxies, amines, PFPA.

Paramagnetic epoxy resin

open access: yesExpress Polymer Letters, 2017
This work illustrates that macrocycles can be used as crosslinking agents for curing epoxy resins, provided that they have appropriate organic functionalities. As macrocycles can complex metal ions in their structure, this curing reaction allows for the introduction of that metal ion into the resin network.
