Personalized Kirigami Strain Sensors for in vivo Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Rapid prototyping of strain sensors is demonstrated using a laser cutter that both converts carbon‐based material to strain responsible graphene and generates cuts in a kirigami‐style pattern that allows enhanced substrate flexibility. This method is used to generate wearable sensors for monitoring heart rate, limb/finger motion, and abdominal ...

Data‐Driven Review on Aerogels and Polymeric Aerogels

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A review goes to data‐driven. An exhaustive literature survey provides an overview of research status on aerogels, a category of highly porous solids with unique physicochemical properties. Statistical/data‐driven analysis tells us positive/negative aspects; aerogels have a promising potential to contribute to emerging energy/environmental issues ...

Laser‐Patterned Diamond Electrodes for Adhesion and Proliferation of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Laser patterning is used to create diamond electrodes on insulating diamond substrates. The process yields conductive surfaces with high capacitance, wide water windows, and low impedance. The electrode‐enhancing human mesenchymal stem cell adhesion and growth are nontoxic and promote cell alignment.
