Atomic Tuning of Metal‐Support Interactions for Pathway‐Selective CO2 Photoreduction on TiO2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐atom Fe and Cu catalysts anchored on TiO2 steer photocatalytic CO2 reduction toward distinct pathways. Fe sites favor rapid *CO desorption and selective CO formation, whereas Cu sites stabilize *CHO intermediates, enabling deep reduction and C─C coupling. Combined spectroscopy and DFT calculations reveal how metal–support interactions and oxygen

Electron paramagnetic resonance evaluation of defects at the (100)Si/Al2O3 interface

open access: yes, 2005
Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) was conducted on aluminium oxide films deposited by atomic layer deposition on (100)Si. Multiplet spectra are observed, which can be consistently decomposed assuming the presence of only Pb0 and Pb1 centres, which ...

Light‐Activatable Nitric Oxide Release via Intramolecular Electron Transfer for Tumor Pyroptosis Induction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work proposes a novel strategy to fabricate unimolecular pyroptosis photoinitiators activated by deep‐red light at low light doses. It relies on a photosensitization mechanism to trigger nitric oxide (NO) release from benzisothiadiazole‐based N‐nitrosanilines without modification of nitro moieties, thereby boosting pyroptosis‐mediated ...

Gd3+-Nitroxide Pairs for Protein-Membrane Studies: A Multifrequency EPR Approach

open access: yes, 2004
The objective of this research project is to advance the well-established method of Site-Directed Spin Labeling (SDSL) Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) by utilizing many advantages that High Field EPR (HF EPR) could offer.

Construction of a MOF‐Based Snap‐Top Delivery Nanosystem for Powerful Dual‐Responsive Synergistic Colitis Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A snap‐top delivery nanosystem based on an azobenzene metal–organic framework achieves targeted release of 6‐mercaptopurine via acid‐stable frameworks and hypoxia/pH dual‐responsive β‐cyclodextrin gates. This multifunctional platform integrates three synergistic mechanisms: precision drug delivery to inflammatory sites, intrinsic antioxidant properties

MetalCenter‐Dependent Selectivity Divergence in MN4 Single‐Atom Catalysts for Aerobic HMF Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two single‐atom catalysts with M‐N4 configurations (FeN4 and CoN4) were developed for selective HMF oxidation. FeN4 achieves 93.9% selectivity toward FFCA via superoxide anions (O2•−), while CoN4 preferentially produces FDCA through hydroxyl radicals (•OH). DFT calculations reveal that distinct adsorption energies and charge redistribution at the metal
