Hydrogen‐Bond–Driven Ion Retention in Electrolyte‐Gated Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Anion molecular design governs ion–polymer interactions in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. Asymmetric anions induce hydrogen‐bond interactions that suppress ion back‐diffusion and stabilize doping, enabling enhanced nonvolatile synaptic properties.

Fast Routing Table Construction Using Small Messages

open access: yes, 2012
We describe a distributed randomized algorithm computing approximate distances and routes that approximate shortest paths. Let n denote the number of nodes in the graph, and let HD denote the hop diameter of the graph, i.e., the diameter of the graph ...

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Slow Motion of Charges Interacting Through the Maxwell Field

open access: yes, 2000
We study the Abraham model for $N$ charges interacting with the Maxwell field. On the scale of the charge diameter, $R_{\phi}$, the charges are a distance $\eps^{-1}R_{\phi}$ apart and have a velocity $\sqrt{\eps} c$ with $\eps$ a small dimensionless ...

Integrating Vibrio natriegens for Photon Manipulation in Living Lighting Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Rationalization of genetic and material engineering tools has enabled the engineering of fluorescent Vibrio natriegens (V. natriegens) to fabricate straightforward, highly emissive and stable V. natriegens‐silicones color filters for the first red‐emitting bacteria‐hybrid light‐emitting diodes. This pinpoints V. natriegens as a high‐performance protein

Agenesia de la vesícula biliar

open access: yesRevista Colombiana de Cirugía, 2015
La agenesia de la vesícula biliar es una variación anatómica infrecuente, de la cual existen muy pocos casos informados en la literatura científica mundial.

Theory of eps'/eps

open access: yes, 2001
I shortly review the present status of the theoretical estimates of eps'/eps. I consider a few aspects of the theoretical calculations which may be relevant in understanding the present experimental results. I discuss the role of higher order chiral corrections and in general of non-factorizable contributions for the explanation of the Delta I = 1/2 ...

Seshadri constants of $K3$ surfaces of degrees 6 and 8 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We compute Seshadri constants $\eps(X):= \eps(\O_X(1))$ on $K3$ surfaces $X$ of degrees 6 and 8. Moreover, more generally, we prove that if $X$ is any embedded $K3$ surface of degree $2r-2 \geq 8$ in $\PP^r$ not containing lines, then $1 < \eps(X)
