ABSTRACT This study examines the vertical spillover effect of product recalls, defined as the losses supplier firms incur when buyer firms announce product recalls. Drawing on social network theory, this study theorizes that relationship ties between recalling firms and their suppliers serve as “pipes” and “prisms” that transmit a cash flow effect and ...

The Heterogeneous Regional Employment Effects of Environmental Policies
ABSTRACT This paper examines the effects of Environmental Policies—measured by the OECD Environmental Policy Stringency Index (EPS)—on employment in 349 regions across 26 countries from 1990 to 2020. We find that more stringent EPS have short‐term negative effects on regional employment, which disappear in the medium term.

ABSTRACT The dual‐species biofilms formed by Streptococcus mutans and Candida albicans exhibit enhanced cariogenic potential due to the production of extracellular polysaccharides (EPSs). The response regulator GcrR in S. mutans negatively regulates EPS synthesis, but its impact on dual‐species biofilms remains unclear.

Mechanical properties of lightweight concrete using EPS beads as coarse aggregate replacement
Abstract This research aims to examine the mechanical behavior of lightweight concrete produced by replacing natural coarse aggregates with expanded polystyrene (EPS) beads. The difference particle sized of EPS beads with diameter of 2.0 and 5.0 mm was used to replaced natural coarse aggregate (crushed limestone) at the rates of 35 ...
