Target-Site Mutations Conferring Herbicide Resistance
Mutations conferring evolved herbicide resistance in weeds are known in nine different herbicide sites of action. This review summarizes recently reported resistance-conferring mutations for each of these nine target sites.

Transformation of rapeseed by mutated epsps gene fused to chloroplast signal peptide towards enhancing tolerance to glyphosate [PDF]
One of the most effective approaches for weed control is production of glyphosate herbicide tolerant crops. Glyphosate blocks plant growth by inhibiting EPSPS (5- enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase) enzyme which in shikimate pathway for the ...

Presynaptic actions of 4-Aminopyridine and γ-aminobutyric acid on rat sympathetic ganglia in vitro [PDF]
Responses to bath-applications of 4-aminopyridine (4-AP) and -aminobutyric acid (GABA) were recorded intracellularly from neurones in the rat isolated superior cervical ganglion.

EPSP depression following neocortical seizures in cat [PDF]
Summary To study the possible mechanism(s) underlying unresponsiveness following neocortical seizures, we recorded excitatory postsynaptic potentials (EPSPs) of cortical neurons evoked by ipsilateral cortical stimulation before and after spontaneous or elicited seizures. Regular‐spiking neurons (n = 32) were intracellularly recorded in association area

The widespread evolution of glyphosate-resistant (GR) Bassia scoparia in the U.S. Great Plains poses a serious threat to the long-term sustainability of GR sugar beet. Glyphosate resistance in B. scoparia is due to an increase in the EPSPS (5-enolpyruvyl-

Excitatory postsynaptic potentials in rat neocortical neurons in vitro. III. Effects of a quinoxalinedione non-NMDA receptor antagonist [PDF]
1. Intracellular microelectrodes were used to obtain recordings from neurons in layer II/III of rat frontal cortex. A bipolar electrode positioned in layer IV of the neocortex was used to evoke postsynaptic potentials.

Identification and Expression Analysis of EPSPS and BAR Families in Cotton
Weeds seriously affect the yield and quality of crops. Because manual weeding is time-consuming and laborious, the use of herbicides becomes an effective way to solve the harm caused by weeds in fields. Both 5-enolpyruvyl shikimate-3-phosphate synthetase
