Evaluation of Static Potential Integrals on Triangular Domains
Static potential integrals for constant and linear sources on triangles are derived in a straightforward way. The new representations, as presented, are robust with respect to machine evaluation in important limiting cases.

The triangle-bisection illusion
In the triangle-bisection illusion, a dot is inscribed exactly halfway up the height of an equilateral triangle, but it looks apparently far more than halfway up.

Quantification of Palmar and Digital Epidermal Thickness and Sweat Duct Density
ABSTRACT Palmar digital skin, with its high density of epidermal sweat glands and unique stratum corneum, derives its autonomic innervation from peripheral nerves. Understanding the changes to these structures could serve as objective proxy markers following peripheral nerve injury and interventions to promote regeneration.

Optimum oil palm planting density in West Africa
This article follows on from an earlier one about the same experiment in 2014. A range of various planting distances (from 7.5 to 9.5 metres) between oil palms was tested using an equilateral triangle design.

On the Einthoven Triangle: A Critical Analysis of the Single Rotating Dipole Hypothesis
Since its inception, electrocardiography has been based on the simplifying hypothesis that cardinal limb leads form an equilateral triangle of which, at the center/centroid, the electrical equivalent of the cardiac activity rotates during the cardiac ...

Circle packing inside an equilateral triangle: supplemental material
We report the dense configurations of 2 ≤ N ≤ 400 congruent disks packed inside an equilateral triangle obtained using the algorithms that we have developed.Added 5 tables; coordinates of the configurations made available through ...

Open halogen‐bonded networks have been prepared from building blocks that incorporate both iodoalkyne halogen bond donors and a pyridine‐N‐oxide halogen bond acceptor. An initially‐formed 3D network containing dioxane in its channels undergoes an unprecedented transition to a 2D material when crystals are exposed to diethyl ether.

Wave Propagation in Periodic Metallic Structures with Equilateral Triangular Holes
This paper studies wave propagation in a periodic parallel-plate waveguide with equilateral triangular holes. A mode-matching method is implemented to analyze the dispersion diagram of the structure possessing glide and mirror symmetries. Both structures

An Equilateral Triangle Waveguide Beam Splitter [PDF]
In this paper an optical beam splitter based on an equilateral triangle waveguide (ETW) is studied theoretically and numerically. We show that an optical beam splitter bases on ETW formed only when the length of the waveguide and the location of incident light are appropriate.

The use of 2‐aminoisobutyric acid in 3d–4f chemistry affords three {Ni₉Ln5} clusters, with the Gd analogue exhibiting an unusually broad magnetocaloric effect across an extended temperature range. ABSTRACT The solvothermal reaction between Ni(HCOO)2.2H2O, 2‐aminoisobutyric acid (aibH), Ln(OAc)3·4H2O (Ln = Gd, Y, Dy) and NEt3 in MeOH/MeCN affords the ...
