Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Study of pre-equilibrium contributions in proton spectra of 59Co(n,xp) reaction using TALYS-1.9 [PDF]
In the present study we have calculated the proton spectra of 59Co(n,xp) using TALYS-1.9. TALYS uses all major reaction mechanisms like compound, pre-equilibrium and direct reactions.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

For low-energy nuclear reactions well above the resonance region, but still below the pion threshold, statistical pre-equilibrium models (e.g., the exciton and the hybrid ones) are a frequent tool for analysis of energy spectra and the cross sections of ...

Performance parameters of explosives: Equilibrium and non-equilibrium reactions [PDF]
S.136-141For the calculation of the performance parameters of combustion processes, equilibrium thermodynamic processes are taken into account. On the other hand, non-equilibrium reactions occur, mostly connected with low pressure burning. In this paper,

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
