Autonomous Off‐Equilibrium Morphing Pathways of a Supramolecular Shape‐Memory Polymer

Advances in Materials, 2021
The diverse morphing behaviors of living creatures arise from their unlimited pathways. In contrast, the equilibrium‐driven morphing pathways of common synthetic shape‐shifting materials are very limited.

Novel sodium bicarbonate activation of cassava ethanol sludge derived biochar for removing tetracycline from aqueous solution: Performance assessment and mechanism insight.

Bioresource Technology, 2021
NaHCO3 was used as a novel activator to produce cassava ethanol sludge-based biochar. The NaHCO3-activated biochar showed superior adsorption capacity for tetracycline (154.45 mg/g) than raw biochar (34.04 mg/g).

Nrf2–ARE signaling in cellular protection: Mechanism of action and the regulatory mechanisms

Journal of Cellular Physiology, 2020
Oxidative stress is the increase in cellular oxidant concentration in comparison to antioxidant titer. Toxic insults and many other diseased conditions are mediated through the formation of such condition.

Non-Hamiltonian equilibrium statistical mechanics

Physical Review E, 2003
In this paper the equilibrium statistical mechanics of non-Hamiltonian systems is formulated introducing an algebraic bracket. The latter defines non-Hamiltonian equations of motion in classical phase space according to the approach introduced in Phys. Rev. E 64, 056125 (2001).
