Equilibrium Points of Bimatrix Games
Journal of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, 1964The purpose of this note is to describe a method for computing the extreme equilibrium points of a bimatrix game which are finite in number. This in essence determines all equilibrium points of the game, The present method seems to be simpler than that of Vorob’ev’s method [7] and Kuhn’s simplification thereof [3].

The Radioactive Equilibrium Point
We present experimental evidence supporting the existence of a Radioactive Equilibrium Point, a condition in which the interaction of gamma radiation and radio waves, when applied in precise frequency symmetry, induces partial stabilization of radioactive decay rates.Based on quantum field theory and electromagnetic resonance, the experiment ...Fuertes Oliva, Martín +1 more

Rejecting the Equilibrium-Point Hypothesis
Motor Control, 1998The lambda version of the equilibrium-point (EP) hypothesis as developed by Feldman and colleagues has been widely used and cited with insufficient critical understanding. This article offers a small antidote to that lack. First, the hypothesis implicitly, unrealistically assumes identical transformations of lambda into muscle tension for antagonist ...

About extreme equilibrium points
Mathematical Social Sciences, 1987Some characterizations for the equilibrium points of the n-person games introduced previously by the authors [in: Proc. II Latin Amer. Congress Appl. Math. Brasil, Vol. II, 576-598 (1983)] are given. These are obtained using some results given by \textit{H. W. Kuhn} [Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci. 47, 1657-1662 (1961; Zbl 0171.409)].

Continuity Properties of Walras Equilibrium Points
Annals of Operations Research, 2002Convergence notions for bivariate functions are explored that yield convergence and stability results for their max/inf points. The results are then applied to obtain continuity results for Walras equilibrium points under perturbations of the utility functions of the agents.

Equilibrium Points in Bimatrix Games
Theory of Probability & Its Applications, 1958An algorithm for computing all equilibrium points (situations) for the case of bimatrix (i.e., finite two-person, non-cooperative, non-zero-sum) games is given.

Equilibrium points for nonlinear compartmental models
Mathematical Biosciences, 1991Equilibrium points for nonlinear autonomous compartmental models with constant input are discussed. Upper and lower bounds for the steady states are derived. Theorems guaranteeing existence and uniqueness of equilibrium points for a large collection of system are proved. New information relating to mean residence times is developed.

Simultaneous stabilization of multiple equilibrium points
2004 43rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37601), 2004With reference to a class of nonlinear systems exhibiting more unstable equilibrium points, possibly in conjunction with stable ones, the paper presents a state-feedback control strategy capable of simultaneously stabilizing them all. The proposed control law, which does not require explicit knowledge of the equilibria, entails evaluating the Jacobian ...

Equilibrium points in specialn-person games
Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, 1990The set of Nash equilibria is computed for some generalized games. It is also studied for a subclass of standard n-person games.
