Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

An Inertial Subgradient Extragradient Method for Efficiently Solving Fixed-Point and Equilibrium Problems in Infinite Families of Demimetric Mappings

open access: yesMathematics
The primary objective of this article is to enhance the convergence rate of the extragradient method through the careful selection of inertial parameters and the design of a self-adaptive stepsize scheme.

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

Strong Convergence Results of Split Equilibrium Problems and Fixed Point Problems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, we investigate the split equilibrium problem and fixed point problem in Hilbert spaces. We propose an iterative scheme for solving such problem in which the involved equilibrium bifunctions f and g are pseudomonotone and monotone ...

Equilibrium problems for Raney densities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The Raney numbers are a class of combinatorial numbers generalising the Fuss--Catalan numbers. They are indexed by a pair of positive real numbers $(p,r)$ with $p>1$ and $0 < r \le p$, and form the moments of a probability density function. For certain $(

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Non equilibrium statistical physics with fictitious time

open access: yes, 2005
Problems in non equilibrium statistical physics are characterized by the absence of a fluctuation dissipation theorem. The usual analytic route for treating these vast class of problems is to use response fields in addition to the real fields that are ...

Advancing Research on Biomaterials and Biological Materials with Scanning Electron Microscopy under Environmental and Low Vacuum Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Herein, environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) is discussed as a powerful extension of conventional SEM for life sciences. By combining high‐resolution imaging with variable pressure and humidity, ESEM allows the analysis of untreated biological materials, supports in situ monitoring of hydration‐driven changes, and advances the functional ...
