Prevalence of equine infectious anemia virus in horses and donkeys determined by comparison of ELISA and AGID in Mexico

open access: yesArquivo Brasileiro de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia
From February to December 2021, 960 serum samples from different climate regions in two Mexican states were analyzed for antibodies against EIAV using competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA) and agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID) tests.

Detection of equine infectious anemia viral genome in equids serum samples in Canada

open access: yesThe Microbe

Influence of CCL2-mediated modulation of ALIX in the budding and replication of viruses from multiple families

open access: yesmBio
Signaling by C-C motif ligand 2 (CCL2), a β-chemokine, modulates HIV-1 budding and release by mobilizing ALG-2-interacting protein X (ALIX) from the F-actin cytoskeleton to the cytosol. Immunodepleting CCL2 in the medium sequesters ALIX to F-actin.
