Independence equivalence classes of paths
The independence equivalence class of a graph $G$ is the set of graphs that have the same independence polynomial as $G$. A graph whose independence equivalence class contains only itself, up to isomorphism, is independence unique. Beaton, Brown and Cameron (2019) showed that paths with an odd number of vertices are independence unique and raised the ...

Mirroring in lattice equations and a related functional equation
We use a functional form of the mirroring technique to fully characterize equivalence classes of unbounded stationary solutions of lattice reaction-diffusion equations with eventually negative and decreasing nonlinearities.

ABSTRACT Background Outcomes in relapsed or refractory pediatric and AYA bone sarcomas remain poor, and the impact of early referral to specialized sarcoma centers on survival is unclear. Early centralization of care may improve local and systemic treatment quality, but evidence in this population is limited.

We consider a general class of systems of three partial differential equations and we provide restrictions on the form of Lie symmetry operators admitted by such systems. When these restrictions are known in advance, the symmetry analysis becomes simpler.

ANALYTIC EQUIVALENCE RELATIONS SATISFYING HYPERARITHMETIC-IS-RECURSIVE
We prove, in $\text{ZF}+\boldsymbol{{\it\Sigma}}_{2}^{1}$-determinacy, that, for any analytic equivalence relation $E$, the following three statements are equivalent: (1) $E$ does not have perfectly many classes, (2) $E$ satisfies hyperarithmetic-is ...

Complete solutions of inverse quantum orthogonal equivalence classes
In the year 1939, the mathematician G.H. Hardy proved that the only functions f which satisfy the classical orthogonality relation ∫01f(λmt)f(λnt)dt=0,m≠n,are the Bessel functions Jν(t)under certain constraints, where ν>−1is the order of the Bessel ...

ABSTRACT Background Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis commonly experience reduced physical function, fatigue, poor sleep quality, and impaired health‐related quality of life. Intradialytic exercise has been proposed as a non‐pharmacological strategy to improve these outcomes.

Does Quantum Mechanics Clash with the Equivalence Principle – and Does it Matter? [PDF]
With an eye on developing a quantum theory of gravity, many physicists have recently searched for quantum challenges to the equivalence principle of general relativity.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
