Equivalent Circuit Models for Impedimetric Sensors

open access: yesProceedings
In this work, equivalent circuit models for conductivity, reference, and potassium ion sensors are introduced and validated. The models help to understand and verify the sensors’ functioning and to determine the selective element of the potassium sensor ...

Modified magnetic equivalent circuit model for magnetic field analysis of one cage‐rotor induction motor used in electric submersible pumps

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, 2023
Here, a modified magnetic equivalent circuit model which can accurately consider the air‐gap region is presented. The main defect of magnetic equivalent circuit model is in the modelling of air‐gap region.

Electric circuit networks equivalent to chaotic quantum billiards

open access: yes, 2004
We formulate two types of electric RLC resonance network equivalent to quantum billiards. In the network of inductors grounded by capacitors squared resonant frequencies are eigenvalues of the quantum billiard.

Design of a miniature permanent-magnet generator and energy storage system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The paper describes a methodology for optimizing the design and performance of a miniature permanent-magnet generator and its associated energy storage system. It combines an analytical field model, a lumped reluctance equivalent magnetic circuit, and an

Physically Realizable Antenna Equivalent Circuit Generation

open access: yesIEEE Access
This work introduces a new equivalent circuit generation method which can compute an accurate equivalent circuit representation for the known/measured impedance characteristics of antennas, which may assist in matching circuit design, non-Foster matching

Equivalent Circuit for Magnetoelectric Read and Write Operations

open access: yes, 2018
We describe an equivalent circuit model applicable to a wide variety of magnetoelectric phenomena and use SPICE simulations to benchmark this model against experimental data. We use this model to suggest a different mode of operation where the "1" and "0'

Equivalent circuits and efficacy of single-layer ACPEL devices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This article has been made available through the Brunel Open Access Publishing Fund.A series resistance - capacitance equivalent circuit has been used to describe a single layer AC Powder Electroluminescence (ACPEL) lamp in operation.

Equivalent circuit for Sommerfeld wave

open access: yesIEICE Electronics Express, 2011
An equivalent circuit of a single conductor line (Sommerfeld wave) is proposed. The circuit is based on physical quantities, such as the electric current and on the power of the traveling wave, while the line voltage is only indirectly obtained. The characteristic impedance and the per-unit-length parameters are calculated in closed form as functions ...

Effects of the Fluid Replacement Method During Online Hemodiafiltration on the Solute Removal Performance and Biocompatibility Using the Asymmetric Cellulose Triacetate Membrane

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
