Equivalent circuit modeling of coupled resonator filters
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control, 2008Using the stacked crystal filter (SCF) concept, a coupled resonator filter (CRF) can be interpreted as a device in which 2 piezoresonators are stacked on top of each other in such a way that a certain degree of acoustic interaction occurs. The work presented in this paper reports a novel all-electrical model for the CRF. The model associates acoustical

Piezoelectric Equivalent Circuit Models
2008Electromechanical equivalent circuits can be used to model the dynamics of piezoelectric systems. In the following, they will be applied for the modeling of piezoelectric bending generators for energy harvesting. Therefore, the basic analogies between electrical and mechanical systems will be discussed and a simple piezoelectric equivalent circuit ...

AC Equivalent Circuit Modeling
2001Converter systems invariably require feedback. For example, in a typical dc-dc converter application, the output voltage v(t) must be kept constant, regardless of changes in the input voltage v g (t) or in the effective load resistance R. This is accomplished by building a circuit that varies the converter control input [i.e., the duty cycle d(t)] in ...

Linear and nonlinear equivalent circuit modeling of CMUTs
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, 2005Using piston radiator and plate capacitance theory capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducers (CMUT) membrane cells can be described by one-dimensional (1-D) model parameters. This paper describes in detail a new method, which derives a 1-D model for CMUT arrays from finite-element methods (FEM) simulations.

An Equivalent Circuit Model for Switched Reluctance Motor
MELECON 2006 - 2006 IEEE Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference, 2006The switched reluctance motor (SRM) is an old member of machine family. Its simple structure, ruggedness, and inexpensive manufacturability make them attractive for industrial applications. This paper presents an equivalent circuit model for switched reluctance motor. Its linear model and dynamics are discussed in detail. Parameters and its approximate

The following sections discuss creating equivalent circuit models of packages from measured data and creating models from EM simulation results. Assuming we can do both well, it is usually best to choose measurement where a physical part and appropriate test board already exist. EM simulation’s big advantage is simulating structures that do not already

Integrated Circuit Modeling by means of Equivalent Modeling
2020 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon), 2020This Ensuring proper interaction of the electromagnetic field from the radiator in the design of high-speed printed circuit boards is a current task. In order to accurately predict the electromagnetic field established by the radiator, this paper proposes an approach that includes the exact radiator's emission, which is described by some dipole moments

During the last decade, there has been a shift in emphasis in device modelling research away from equivalent circuits and in favour of numerical device simulation. This has been driven by a rapid increase in the computing power to cost ratio and the assertion that the solution of the fundamental device equations is required to adequately model modern ...

Equivalent Circuit Modelling of Ferrite Inductors Losses
2018 IEEE 4th International Forum on Research and Technology for Society and Industry (RTSI), 2018The modelling of the magnetic losses in the core of ferrite inductors for power conversion circuits has been considered in this paper. On the basis of the Revised Generalized Steinmetz Model (RGSE) an equivalent circuital modelling has been obtained. The losses are modelled as an equivalent resistance connected in parallel to the inductor.

Thermoradiative Cell Equivalent Circuit Model
IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 2021Thermoradiative cells provide a means of electricity generation through direct transfer of energy from heat flux at the cell to radiation from the cell to a colder ambient. While thermodynamic limits and detailed models have been developed for thermoradiative cells, intuitive models to guide the development of thermoradiative cells and associated ...
