Equivalent Model of a Clock Recovery Circuit
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1983In previous work a jitter model has been used to predict the growth of the timing errors along a chain of PCM regenerators. According to this model each regenerator behaves as a combination of a low-pass filter and a source of noise. The former accounts for the smoothing effect of the time constants of the regenerator, and the latter represents timing ...

Equivalent Circuit Model of MWCNT Nanointerconnects
2008 8th IEEE Conference on Nanotechnology, 2008The transmission line model of a multi-wall carbon nanotube interconnect is formulated in the time domain, considering the statistical and the deterministic model of the conducting channel number in each shell. The equivalent per- unit-length circuit of the interconnect is derived for possible implementation in commercial circuit solvers.

Equivalent circuit model for superconductors
IEEE Transactions on Appiled Superconductivity, 2003We propose an equivalent circuit model that describes the behavior of a superconductor viewed by an external user, for whom the global variables voltage and current are of interest. It is used in time-continuous simulations and it treats well both the subcritical and supercritical current regime.

An equivalent circuit model for IGBT
Proceedings of the 2000 Third IEEE International Caracas Conference on Devices, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.00TH8474), 2002A new circuit model for the IGBT is developed. This model uses the transmission-line circuit technique and is suitable for circuit simulators. The new circuit model for the IGBT is implemented into widely used SPICE3 and all the simulation results are compared with the results of the TMA MEDICI device simulator.

Equivalent circuit modeling of coupled resonator filters
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control, 2008Using the stacked crystal filter (SCF) concept, a coupled resonator filter (CRF) can be interpreted as a device in which 2 piezoresonators are stacked on top of each other in such a way that a certain degree of acoustic interaction occurs. The work presented in this paper reports a novel all-electrical model for the CRF. The model associates acoustical

Linear and nonlinear equivalent circuit modeling of CMUTs
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, 2005Using piston radiator and plate capacitance theory capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducers (CMUT) membrane cells can be described by one-dimensional (1-D) model parameters. This paper describes in detail a new method, which derives a 1-D model for CMUT arrays from finite-element methods (FEM) simulations.

Piezoelectric Equivalent Circuit Models
2008Electromechanical equivalent circuits can be used to model the dynamics of piezoelectric systems. In the following, they will be applied for the modeling of piezoelectric bending generators for energy harvesting. Therefore, the basic analogies between electrical and mechanical systems will be discussed and a simple piezoelectric equivalent circuit ...

AC Equivalent Circuit Modeling
2001Converter systems invariably require feedback. For example, in a typical dc-dc converter application, the output voltage v(t) must be kept constant, regardless of changes in the input voltage v g (t) or in the effective load resistance R. This is accomplished by building a circuit that varies the converter control input [i.e., the duty cycle d(t)] in ...

An Equivalent Circuit Model for Switched Reluctance Motor
MELECON 2006 - 2006 IEEE Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference, 2006The switched reluctance motor (SRM) is an old member of machine family. Its simple structure, ruggedness, and inexpensive manufacturability make them attractive for industrial applications. This paper presents an equivalent circuit model for switched reluctance motor. Its linear model and dynamics are discussed in detail. Parameters and its approximate
