ABOUT CODE EQUIVALENCE — A GEOMETRIC APPROACH
The equivalence test is a main part in any classification problem. It helps to prove bounds for the main parameters of the considered combinatorial structures and to study their properties. In this paper, we present algorithms for equivalence of linear codes, based on their relation to multisets of points in a projective geometry.

NOISE IMMUNITY CODES DISPLAY IN RELIABILITY CORDINATES
Background. Noise immunity codes are widely used in the modern telecommunication systems. The methodology of properties count of convolutional codes, offered by authors before, to the equivalent parameters of block codes gave the opportunity to use the ...

Quantum Lego: Building Quantum Error Correction Codes from Tensor Networks
We introduce a flexible and graphically intuitive framework that constructs complex quantum error correction codes from simple codes or states, generalizing code concatenation.

Scaling Analysis of Multilevel Polar Coded Modulation
In this paper, we analyze and prove the capacity-achieving property of the equivalent asymmetric channels of multilevel polar-coded modulation in view of the scaling assuming regime, which employ some techniques of symmetric channels.

On extremal self-dual ternary codes of length 48 [PDF]
All extremal ternary codes of length 48 that have some automorphism of prime order $p\geq 5$ are equivalent to one of the two known codes, the Pless code or the extended quadratic residue ...

The equivalence of linear codes implies semi-linear equivalence
We prove that if two linear codes are equivalent then they are semi-linearly equivalent. We also prove that if two additive MDS codes over a field are equivalent then they are additively equivalent.

Emoji faces, which are ubiquitous in our everyday communication, are thought to resemble human faces and aid emotional communication. Yet, few studies examine whether emojis are perceived as a particular emotion and whether that perception changes based ...

Some Constacyclic Codes over Finite Chain Rings [PDF]
For $\lambda$ an $n$-th power of a unit in a finite chain ring we prove that $\lambda$-constacyclic repeated-root codes over some finite chain rings are equivalent to cyclic codes. This allows us to simplify the structure of some constacylic codes.

A generalization of cyclic code equivalence algorithm to constacyclic codes
Recently, a new algorithm to test equivalence of two cyclic codes has been introduced which is efficient and produced useful results. In this work, we generalize this algorithm to constacyclic codes. As an application of the algorithm we found many constacyclic codes with good parameters and properties. In particular, we found 23 new codes that improve

On the Girth of Tanner (3, 13) Quasi-Cyclic LDPC Codes
Girth is an important structural property of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes. Motivated by the works on the girth of Tanner (3, 5), (3, 7), (3, 11), and (5, 7) quasi-cyclic (QC) LDPC codes, we, in this paper, study the girth of Tanner (3, 13) QC ...
