Design and performance comparison of double-series and triple-series flexure hinges
The flexible hinge is one of the most important components in lamina emergent mechanisms (LEMs), so the design of a new type of lamina emergent torsional (LET) joint can play a key role in its movement performance.

Packed hydrogel microfiber (PHM) materials consist of flexible and high aspect ratio hydrogel components that, as a bulk material, are simultaneously mechanically robust and dynamic. Cells cultured in or on PHM scaffolds can be influenced by topographical cues or interact with a dynamic environment that permits cell spreading and multicellular ...

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.

ABSTRACT Magnetogenetic deep brain stimulation (MG‐DBS) represents a wireless neuromodulation that has demonstrated long‐lasting behavioral benefits in Parkinson's disease models. However, the circuit‐level mechanisms underlying these therapeutic effects have remained uncharacterized due to limitations of conventional neural interfaces.

Influence of Anti-yaw Damper Series Stiffnesson Running Stability of High-speed EMUs
The Maxwell model, which was the simplified model of anti-yaw damper, was introduced. High-speed EMUs model wasestablished by using SIMPACK. Based on nonlinear and linear stability analysis, the influence of anti-yaw damper series stiffness withdifferent

Dynamic equivalent design and realization of the pipeline of engine fuel pump accessory
The pipeline space configuration of fuel pump accessory is complex, and it is difficult to simulate directly in vibration environment test. In this paper, the system equivalent reduction expansion process(SEREP)is used for the dynamic equivalent design of ...

An in vitro testicular model is developed by generating connective tissue equivalents from human dermal fibroblast‐derived microtissues and coupling them with human Sertoli cells or human Sertoli cell spheroids. This engineered microenvironment supports Sertoli cell maturation and functionality, providing a promising platform for studying human ...

ABSTRACT In vitro arterial models offer ethical and robust alternatives for vascular research but require cytocompatible materials that replicate physiological mechanics. Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) hydrogels produced by directional freezing and salting‐out (PVA DFSO) are anisotropic yet lack stability for cell culture. Herein, methacrylated PVA (PVA‐MA)
