Equivariant smoothing of piecewise linear manifolds
We prove that every piecewise linear manifold of dimension up to four on which a finite group acts by piecewise linear homeomorphisms admits a compatible smooth structure with respect to which the group acts smoothly.

The authors evaluated six machine‐learned interatomic potentials for simulating threshold displacement energies and tritium diffusion in LiAlO2 essential for tritium production. Trained on the same density functional theory data and benchmarked against traditional models for accuracy, stability, displacement energies, and cost, Moment Tensor Potential ...

Exact solutions of semilinear radial Schrodinger equations by separation of group foliation variables [PDF]
Explicit solutions are obtained for a class of semilinear radial Schrodinger equations with power nonlinearities in multi-dimensions. These solutions include new similarity solutions and other new group-invariant solutions, as well as new solutions that ...

Fromula for the Projectively Invariant Quantization on Degree Three
We give an explicit formula for the projectively invariant quantization map between the space of symbols of degree three and the space of third-order linear differential operators, both viewed as modules over the group of diffeomorphisms and the Lie ...

Machine Learning Paradigm for Advanced Battery Electrolyte Development
Electrolyte materials determine ion transport kinetics within the bulk and interphases, ultimately influencing the performance of battery systems. As data‐driven paradigms increasingly reshape materials discovery, this review provides an application‐oriented exploration of the intersection between machine learning and electrolyte science. By evaluating

Cup-product for equivariant Leibniz cohomology and zinbiel algebras
We study finite group actions on Leibniz algebras, define equivariant cohomology groups associated to such actions. We show that there exists a cup-product operation on this graded cohomology groups which makes it a graded zinbiel algebra.Comment: 12 ...

Conserved current for the Cotton tensor, black hole entropy and equivariant Pontryagin forms
The Chern-Simons lagrangian density in the space of metrics of a 3-dimensional manifold M is not invariant under the action of diffeomorphisms on M. However, its Euler-Lagrange operator can be identified with the Cotton tensor, which is invariant under ...
