A multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber (EDF) laser based on a nonlinear amplifying loop mirror (NALM) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The NALM provides intensity-dependent transmissivity to equalize different-wavelength powers and the transmission can be uniquely optimized by controlling the cavity loss associated with a section of un-pumped

Ultranarrow-Linewidth Brillouin/Erbium Fiber Laser Based on 45-cm Erbium-Doped Fiber
We demonstrate an ultranarrow-linewidth Brillouin/erbium fiber laser (BEFL), in which 45-cm commercialized erbium-doped fiber (EDF) acts as both the Brillouin and linear gain media. The Brillouin pump threshold of the BEFL is in submilliwatts. Its 980-nm

One-Step Fabrication of 0D Cs4PbBr6 Perovskite with Nonlinear Optical Properties for Ultrafast Pulse Generation. [PDF]
This study focuses on exploring the nonlinear optical properties of 0D Cs4PbBr6 and Cs4PbBr6/CsPbBr3 composites perovskites. For the first time, they are successfully integrated as saturable absorbers into erbium‐doped fiber lasers, achieving conventional soliton mode‐locking operations within the C‐band.
