This work pioneers a 5.7 MHz all−fiber mode−locked laser−based broadband swept−source OCT system, achieving record−breaking performance: 11.4 µm axial resolution and 119 mm detection range. The system demonstrates exceptional coherence and stability, overcoming traditional trade−off between imaging speed and detection range.

Compact Bi-EDF-Based Brillouin Erbium Fiber Laser Operating at the 1560-nm Region
A single-frequency Brillouin erbium fiber laser (BEFL) is demonstrated operating at the 1560-nm region using a simple ring resonator with a very short piece of bismuth-based erbium-doped fiber (Bi-EDF) for the first time.

Seven-Ring-Core Erbium-Doped Fiber for OAM-MDM Amplification
Orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode division multiplexing (MDM) amplification in a seven-ring-core erbium-doped fiber (7-RC-EDF) has been experimentally demonstrated, in which the 1st–4th order OAM modes within each core of the 7-RC-EDF can be ...

Passively mode-locked fiber laser by utilizing TTG film on a D-shaped fiber as a saturable absorber [PDF]
In this paper, we propose a mode-locked fiber laser by utilizing single layer Trivial Transfer Graphene film (TTGF) as a saturable absorber (SA). The SA was deposited on the top of a side-polished D-shaped fiber.

Graphene mode locked, wavelength-tunable, dissipative soliton fiber laser
Atomic layer graphene possesses wavelength-insensitive ultrafast saturable absorption, which can be exploited as a full-band mode locker. Taking advantage of the wide band saturable absorption of the graphene, we demonstrate experimentally that wide ...
