Acta Polytechnica, 2008 In this paper we report on the fabrication and properties of Er3 and Er3/Yb3 doped Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) layers. The reported layers were fabricated by spin coating on silicon or on quartz substrates. Infrared spectroscopy was used for an investigation of O-H stretching vibration.
