New expressions of ergodic MIMO channel capacity

2013 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2013), 2013
This paper derives new compact capacity expressions of N × N multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) independent Rayleigh fading channels with N transmit and TV receive antennas. The complex-valued channel parameters are assumed to be identically-distributed, zero-mean, unit-variance and circularly-symmetric Gaussian.

Ergodic Secrecy Capacity in Nakagami-m Fading Channels

2019 International Carnahan Conference on Security Technology (ICCST), 2019
In this paper, multiple-input-multiple-output wireless communication network is considered: with a base station Alice having multiple antennas, one desired information receiver Bob and one eavesdropper with multiple antennas. A closed-form mathematical expression for the ergodic secrecy capacity under Nakagami-m Fading Channels is derived.

Ergodic Capacity of LTE Downlink Multiuser MIMO Systems

2008 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2008
This paper presents the analysis of the average channel capacity and the SINR distribution for multiuser Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems in combination with the base station based packet scheduler. The packet scheduler is used to exploit the available multiuser diversity in the time, frequency and spatial domains.

Estimating the Ergodic Capacity of Log-Normal Channels

IEEE Communications Letters, 2007
In this paper, we first provide a very accurate estimation of the capacity of a single-input single-output system operating in a log-normal environment. Then, hinging on the fact that the sum of log-normal Random Variables (RV) is well approximated by another log-normal RV, we apply the obtained results to find the capacity of Maximum Ratio Combining ...

Ergodic capacity of spatially correlated multi-cluster scattering MIMO channels

2015 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT), 2015
In this paper, we study the ergodic capacity of spatially correlated multi-cluster MIMO channels. Our first result is an exact and explicit expression of the joint density of singular values of the considered channel matrix. The singular values correlation function then follows directly, which leads to an exact formula for the ergodic capacity.

Capacity of Ergodic MIMO Channels with Complete Transmitter Channel Knowledge

2005 Australian Communications Theory Workshop, 2006
The purpose of this paper is to attack a common misconception regarding the capacity computation for multiple-input multiple-output channels whose gains follow ergodic laws and are known to both the transmitter and the receiver. Several researchers have reported results in which they first compute capacity of a time-invariant channel via application of
