Simulation of forming of UFG Ti-6-4 alloy at low temperature of superplasticity [PDF]
Superplastic forming of Ni and Ti based alloys is widely used in aerospace industry. The main advantage of using the effect of superplasticity in sheet metal forming processes is a feasibility of forming materials with a high amount of plastic strain in ...

Abstract Background The treatment of chronic pilonidal sinus disease (PSD) is controversial. Minor PSD can be treated minimally invasively. The preferred minimally invasive treatment in Denmark is the Bascom I procedure. Aim To evaluate re‐operation rates following elective Bascom I and to identify potential risk factors.

EXPERIMENTAL FLC DETERMINATION OF HIGH STRENGTH STEEL SHEET METAL
To assess formability in sheet forming, experimentally determined Forming Limit Curves (FLC) are often used. These conventional FLCs represent the forming limits (i.e.

Processing‐Dependent Performance of the LiNiO2 Cathode in Lithium‐Ion Batteries
Processing‐dependent effects on the LiNiO2 cathode are investigated, demonstrating how the size of the pCAM particles, the method of mixing the hydroxide precursors, and the exposure to various atmospheres during the sieving process alter the microstructure, defect chemistry, and surface composition, and ultimately affect the cycling performance and ...

The prevalence of chronic diseases among colorectal cancer patients has increased markedly since 2002, rising from 36% to 51%, with more patients now presenting with chronic diseases than without at diagnosis. Metabolic diseases showed the most pronounced increase over time, whereas the prevalence of cardiopulmonary diseases among patients with one or ...

One‐step 3D printing combined with in‐situ self‐assembly of behenic acid creates hierarchical polypropylene surfaces with micro‐ and nanostructures. The resulting material exhibits superhydrophobicity with a contact angle of 163 (±2)°, self‐healing, and high scratch resistance, while reducing initial bacterial adhesion by 87%. ABSTRACT Superhydrophobic
