Eriochrome Black T as a Protein Dye
Nature, 1962BINDING of eriochrome black T to protein was suspected during experimental ultramicro-titration of solutions containing serum proteins, when using eriochrome black T as indicator, because of difficulty in obtaining a value for the indicator blank titration.

Heterogeneous photodecolorization of Eriochrome Black T using Ni/P zeolite catalyst
Desalination, 2010Abstract Ni2+-exchanged zeolite P has been used as a heterogeneous catalyst in the photodecolorization process of Eriochrome Black T dye in aqueous solution under UV irradiation. The effect of various experimental variables such as catalyst dosage, solution temperature, initial concentration of the dye and initial pH of the dye solutions were studied

Photodecolorization of Eriochrome Black T using NiS–P zeolite as a heterogeneous catalyst
Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2010NiS-P zeolite was prepared by ion exchange and precipitation procedures and it was characterized by FT-IR, SEM and thermal methods. The prepared composite was used as a catalyst in the photodecolorization process of Eriochrome Black T (E.B.T.) dye in aqueous solution under UV irradiation.

The spectrophotometric determination of thorium with eriochrome black T
Mikrochimica Acta, 1961From 0.5 to 20μg Th/ml may be determined with Eriochrome Black T in acetate buffered solution. Fewer ions interfere if the determination is performed in hydrochloric acid solution, but the lower limit is raised to 1μg Th/ml.

Metal chelates of eriochrome black T in aqueous solutions
Microchemical Journal, 1968Abstract The elementary observations on the chelate formation of Eriochrome Black T have been described. The behavior of the reagent in aqueous solution and different conditions under which stable complexes are formed have been worked out for magnesium, zinc, cadmium, calcium, aluminium, gallium, indium, scandium, yttrium, lanthanum, praseodymium ...

Eriochrome Black T inhibits endothelial cell growth through S-phase blockade
European Journal of Pharmacology, 2000We used human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) cultures to investigate in vitro the antiproliferative effects of suramin and of its analogue, Eriochrome Black T. The cell cycle phases of interest were characterised with specific immune sera raised against cyclin D(1), cyclin E and proliferating nuclear cell antigen (PCNA).

Poly(eriochrome black T) modified electrode for electrosensing of methdilazine
Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing, 2020Abstract The current research work is based on the development of an electrode modified by using an indicator, poly(eriochrome black T) (poly-EBT) for the determination of methdilazine hydrochloride (MDH). Excellent electrocatalytic, semiconducting properties of poly-EBT influences the enhanced peak current of MDH.

Photocatalytic Degradation of Eriochrome Black-T Dye by Immobilized Dowex-1x8
Research Journal of Chemistry and Environment, 2023Eriochrome Black-T (EBT) is a commonly used textile dye. It is a harmful organic molecule and is also present in textile effluent. The photocatalytic degradation has been studied using MBIR Dowex-1×8 as the photocatalyst. Some parameters such as pH, light intensity, the amount of photocatalyst and initial dye concentration were also studied.

A novel gel system was obtained by mixing aqueous solutions of tamarind seed xyloglucan (TSX) and Eriochrome Black T (EBT), an antiangiogenic compound. The shear-viscosity flow curves revealed that all the studies mixtures displayed a shear thinning behavior. Viscosity increased with increasing EBT concentrations.
