Simple HPLC–UV method for determination of iohexol, iothalamate, p-aminohippuric acid and n-acetyl-p-aminohippuric acid in human plasma and urine with ERPF, GFR and ERPF/GFR ratio determination using colorimetric analysis

Journal of Chromatography B: Analytical Technologies in the Biomedical and Life Sciences, 2005
A simple high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method was developed for the simultaneous determination of iohexol, iothalamate, p-aminohippuric acid (PAH) and n-acetyl-p-aminohippuric acid (n-acetyl-PAH) in human plasma and urine. A C(18) column at a flow rate of 1 ml/min with an aqueous mobile phase of trifluoroacetic acid (0.1% TFA in ...

Indikation, OP-Technik und Ergebnisse des endoskopischen Releases der Plantarfaszie (ERPF)

Fuß & Sprunggelenk, 2004
Summary Purpose The purpose of the present study is to present the surgical technique, and to review our indications and results after endoscopic release in plantar fasciitis. Material and methods In 5 embalmed human specimen a biportal technique for endoscopic release of the plantar fascie was established.

Comparison of 99Tcm-mercaptoacetyltriglycine and 131I-orthoiodohippurate in determination of effective renal plasma flow (ERPF)

Nuclear Medicine Communications, 1989
Recent studies have suggested that 99Tcm-labelled mercaptoacetyltriglycine (99Tcm-MAG3) is a potential replacement for 131I-orthoiodohippurate (131I-OIH). The two radiopharmaceuticals were studied in 19 patients with varying degrees of renal impairment, for comparison of effective renal plasma flow (ERPF). All patients were injected i.v.

Measurement of effective renal plasma flow (ERPF) with 123I-orthoiodohippurate (I-123-OIH).

Radiation medicine, 1996
We evaluated the necessity of attenuation correction for calculating effective renal plasma flow (ERPF) using I-123-orthoiodohippurate (OIH), an agent introduced recently to replace I-131-OIH. From a kidney phantom experiment, the attenuation coefficient (mu) for I-123-OIH in the human body was determined as 0.1262 cm-1.
