Error Correction by Structural Simplicity: Correcting Samplable Additive Errors [PDF]
Abstract This paper explores the possibilities and limitations of error correction by the structural simplicity of error mechanisms. Specifically, we consider channel models, called samplable additive channels, in which (i) errors are efficiently sampled without the knowledge of the coding scheme or the transmitted codeword; (ii) the ...

We obtained potential bacterial laccase‐like multicopper oxidase (LMCO) sequences through metagenomic sequencing. All sequences exhibited significant differences from known LMCOs in databases. To select the most promising candidates, we performed structure prediction and molecular docking using alphafold2, metal3d and rosetta.

A note on threshold theorem of fault-tolerant quantum computation [PDF]
Error-correction process has to be carried out periodically to prevent accumulation of errors in fault-tolerant quantum computation. It is believed that the best choice to get maximum threshold value is carrying out an error-correction process after each quantum gate operation.

Introduction to Quantum Error Correction [PDF]
In this introduction we motivate and explain the ``decoding'' and ``subsystems'' view of quantum error correction. We explain how quantum noise in QIP can be described and classified, and summarize the requirements that need to be satisfied for fault ...

Error-Correction of Multidimensional Bursts [PDF]
In this paper we present several constructions to generate codes for correcting a multidimensional cluster-error. The goal is to correct a cluster-error whose shape can be a box-error, a Lee sphere error, or an error with an arbitrary shape. Our codes have very low redundancy, close to optimal, and large range of parameters of arrays and clusters.

A potential biomarker of cognitive impairment: The olfactory dysfunction and its genes expression
Abstract Objective Accumulation evidence has reported that olfactory impairment may be an essential clinical marker and predictor of mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease. Method Participants were enrolled in the population‐based, prospective study in Fuxin county, Liaoning province, China between 2019 and 2021.
