Advanced Science, EarlyView.Magnetomechanical neuromodulation using magnetic nanodiscs enables remote activation of neurons. In a hemiparkinsonian mouse model, alternating magnetic fields actuate the nanodiscs to generate torque that opens mechanosensitive ion channels within the subthalamic nucleus, thereby modulating basal ganglia motor circuitry.

Covalent Reprogramming of Kinase Binders to Modulate Protein Abundance
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Electrophilic remodeling of a broad‐spectrum kinase binder reveals how subtle chemical changes reprogram protein fate. An acrylamide analog of a multi‐kinase binder selectively stabilizes Aurora kinase A (AURKA) by suppressing its ubiquitination, while a short‐linker variant converts this stabilizer into a degrader.

Error Floors and Efficient Decoding of LDPC Codes [PDF]
This dissertation deals with binary, non-binary, and generalized low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes. The two main topics are the design and analysis of quantized message-passing decoders and the study of error floors. Quantized decoding algorithms are proposed and analyzed using density evolution.
