Research on Ship Collision Avoidance Decision-Making Based on AVOA-SA and COLREGs

open access: yesApplied Sciences
With the rapid development of the shipping industry, the collision risk among ships in open waters has been steadily increasing, making effective multi-ship collision avoidance decision-making a critical issue for ensuring navigational safety. This paper

A Novel Perfused Full‐Thickness Human Skin Microphysiological System for Modeling Injury, Regeneration, Tumor Pathophysiology, and Therapeutics Development

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
What if human skin could remain fully alive and functional outside the body for weeks? A New Alternative Method (NAM) based on a vascularized full‐thickness skin microphysiological system achieves precisely this, preserving native vasculature, resident immunity, and metabolic activity for up to three weeks, while faithfully recapitulating radiation ...

Noise-induced desynchronization and stochastic escape from equilibrium in complex networks [PDF]

open access: yes
Complex physical systems are unavoidably subjected to external environments not accounted for in the set of differential equations that models them. The resulting perturbations are standardly represented by noise terms.

A 3D‐Printed Vascular‐Like Perfusion Tumor‐on‐a‐Chip Recapitulates High‐Grade Breast Cancer With in Vivo‐Relevant Drug Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A high‐resolution 3D‐printed tumor‐on‐a‐chip platform sustains breast cancer tissues at in vivo–like cell densities through vascular‐like perfusion. This engineered system recapitulates grade‐dependent molecular features and exhibits drug‐resistance profiles that uniquely align with clinically relevant Cmax values.

Conjugated Porphyrin Polymer With Superior Charge Transfer for Photodynamic‐Immunomodulatory Prevention of CIED Infection in Diabetes

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Under NIR irradiation, PTCPP generates ROS to eliminate MRSA biofilms and promote M1 macrophage polarization for phagocytosis. After bacterial clearance, the material is phagocytosed by macrophages, shifting their polarization to M2 phenotype via metabolic reprogramming, which synergistically enhances anti‐infection therapy and wound healing.

Demystifying the 'Metric Approach to Social Compromise with the Unanimity Criterion' [PDF]

open access: yes
In a recent book and earlier studies, Donald Saari well clarifies the source of three classical impossibility theorems in social choice and proposes possible escape out of these negative results.

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...

Identifying preferred break environments for individuals with escape-maintained problem behavior [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Despite the prevalence of breaks in treatments for escape-maintained problem behavior, few studies have empirically evaluated preferred break environments (e.g., break with attention and/or tangibles).

Controlling the
