Bridging Horizontal to Vertical Radiative Cooling
Radiative cooling materials are mature but only work facing the sky, confining them to rooftops. Instead of developing new ones, this system bridges existing horizontal coolers to vertical windows using blades outside the glass. On an occupied urban building, windows stay up to 1.4°C below air temperature while preserving daylight, outward views, and ...

AI‑guided single‑cell transcriptomics identifies OGT as a key regulator enriched in rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast‑like synoviocytes (RA‐FLSs). Inflammatory stimuli activate the OGT–SAP130 axis, which modulates the H3K27ac/H3K27me3 balance and epigenetically silences BTG2, promoting aggressive transformation of RA‑FLSs.

Time‐resolved synchrotron radiography reveals the internal evolution of electrochemical double‐layer capacitors under abusive overcharge. EDLCs are shown to follow a thermally driven failure pathway involving electrolyte decomposition, gas generation, and structural collapse, distinct from chemically driven thermal runaway effects of Lithium‐ion ...

The escape motivation of emerging market multinational enterprises
The authors argue that FDI by emerging-market firms in advanced economies is motivated not just by "pull" factors, such as the host country's large market or technical talent, but also by "push" factors, such as the home country's weak institutions and reputation. We explain the latter, which we call "escape FDI."

Engineered Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 with a tannic acid‐mediated BPA coating enables tumor‐targeted boron delivery for BNCT. The low‐level incidental radiation generated during BNCT activate a RecA‐driven circuit to induce CXCL10, while radiation‐enhanced bacterial colonization triggers in situ vaccination and systemic antitumor immunity.

Understanding Metaverse Consumers Through Escapism Motives: Focusing on Roblox and Zepeto
This study investigates how users’ escapism motives and perceptions of technology influence their intentions to continue using metaverse platforms. To this end, a framework based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) is used to explore how the perceptions of two benefits—enjoyment and usefulness—as antecedents of continuance intention, are ...

Probabilistic Computing via Gate‐Tunable Random Telegraph Noise
Intrinsic random telegraph noise in metal–oxide–semiconductor field‐effect transistors is harnessed to create gate‐tunable probabilistic bits. By modulating carrier‐trapping dynamics, the device produces stochastic binary outputs with a continuous bias‐to‐probability transfer.

Escapism: The Presence of Escapist Tendencies in Depressed Gamers [PDF]
Escapism, a coping mechanism used to relieve stress, uniquely characterized by removing one’s conscious self from reality, can be utilized by video gamers with depression to escape from their own realities. The implications of this phenomenon could allow
