Spherical and Aspherical Lenses for Boosting the Performance of Terahertz Imaging Systems
Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.This study investigates the enhancement of terahertz (THz) detection through the terajet effect using mesoscale dielectric lenses of various geometries. Spherical, aspherical, and cubic polytetrafluoroethylene lenses are evaluated at 0.15 and 0.3 THz, demonstrating significant improvements in responsivity and noise reduction.

Microwave‐Assisted One‐Pot Synthesis of Alkyl Levulinates From Post‐Harvest Vegetable Waste
Advanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.Vegetable waste is valorized through Soxhlet extraction using H₂O₂ and heteropolyacid (HPA), followed by material characterization (XRD, FTIR, TGA, DSC). A microwave‐assisted reaction at 170 °C for 30 min with HPA and alcohol yields bio‐based esters.

Advanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.A tungsten carbide nanoparticles/carbon nanofoam composite is presented as an efficient electrocatalysts towards hydrogen evolution reaction. The simultaneous ablation of tungsten and carbide via pulsed laser deposition results in homogeneous and dense dispersion of tungsten carbide particles in the carbon matrix.
