LAMC2+ Epithelial Cells Drive Bladder Cancer Progression and Predict Immunotherapy Response via SERPINB3/STAT3/CD44 Axis

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
This study identified LAMC2+ epithelial cells through single‐cell sequencing and found that high expression of LAMC2 is associated with the malignant progression of bladder cancer. HdWGCNA and transcriptome sequencing revealed the SerpinB3/STAT3/CD44 axis. Diosmetin was selected as a potential LAMC2 inhibitor.

TRIM59 Drives Bladder Cancer Progression Through E3 Ligase‐Dependent K48‐Linked Degradation of PTRF

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Schematic model of TRIM59‐driven BLCA progression through K48‐linked ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of PTRF, leading to AKT activation and c‐Myc upregulation. ABSTRACT Tripartite motif‐containing 59 (TRIM59) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase implicated in multiple malignancies, but its role in bladder cancer (BLCA) remains incompletely understood ...

Advances in Spatial Heterogeneity and Cellular Localization Specificity of Intratumoral Bacteria

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Spatial localization of intratumoral bacteria governs their functional roles in tumor progression, metastasis, and treatment responses, with guiding significance for clinical management, as reviewed across three spatial paradigms. ABSTRACT Bacteria in tumors are increasingly recognized to be a part of the tumor microenvironment and their biological ...

Concurrent validity and agreement of Bayley‐4, AIMS, and HINE assessments in 1‐year‐old children

open access: yesDevelopmental Medicine &Child Neurology, EarlyView.
In this cross‐sectional study of children around 1‐year‐old, the Bayley‐4 showed concurrent validity and moderate to substantial agreement with the AIMS and the HINE in both clinical and home settings. Abstract Aim To examine concurrent validity between the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, Fourth Edition (Bayley‐4) gross motor subtest ...
